Booking a private airport transfer is the easy part. Knowing exactly what happens between landing and getting into your car is what actually makes the journey feel effortless. Here is precisely how it works, from the moment your wheels touch the runway in Prague.
Before You Land: Flight Tracking
Your driver tracks your flight automatically from the moment your booking is confirmed. This means your pickup time is based on the aircraft's actual landing time, not the departure board's original schedule. If your flight lands early, your driver adjusts. If it's delayed, your driver adjusts. You never need to call us to report a delay — we already know before you've switched your phone off airplane mode.
Where to Find Your Driver
Your driver waits for you inside the arrivals hall — specifically, in the area you reach after clearing passport control and collecting your baggage, not before. Look for a driver holding a sign with your name on it. This is deliberate: it means you don't need to search for anyone while you're still dealing with immigration or waiting at the carousel — by the time you're through, your driver is already visible and waiting.
Up to 60 minutes of waiting time from actual landing is included at no extra charge, and airport parking during that time is included as well. In practice, most passengers clear the airport well within that window, but the buffer exists for exactly the situations where it doesn't go smoothly.
One thing worth keeping in mind: it's always better to be reachable by phone or WhatsApp after landing, even briefly. Your driver may occasionally need to confirm the exact meeting point in a busy arrivals hall, or let you know about something on their end — staying reachable, even just to receive a text, makes the handover noticeably smoother.
What If There's an Unusually Long Delay?
Prague Airport occasionally experiences longer-than-usual queues at passport control, particularly during peak arrival banks. If this pushes you well past the included waiting time, it is assessed individually rather than charged automatically — we would rather have a short conversation about it than surprise you with a fee for something entirely outside your control.
Meeting in a VIP Lounge or a Different Location
If you have arranged fast-track service, a VIP lounge, or any other non-standard meeting point, this needs to be arranged in advance — it is not the default. Simply mention it when booking, or let us know beforehand by phone or WhatsApp, and we'll brief your driver accordingly. Without prior arrangement, the arrivals hall remains the meeting point.
From the Airport to Your Destination
Once you're in the car, the fixed price quoted at booking covers the entire journey within 25 km of the airport — no meter running, no surprise add-ons for luggage or extra stops within reason. Your driver speaks English, and Czech, Arabic or Russian-speaking drivers are available on request. From there, it's simply a comfortable Mercedes-Benz and a direct route into Prague.
A Few Things Worth Knowing in Advance
